68 A good brewpub at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. An OK selection of beers but you should go there for the brewpubs own beers. The brewmaster is a really nice and friendly person. You could always have a chatt about brewing and beers. You can not get a better location for a brewpub. |
62 Came in and had a beer once during my year in Cape Town in 2003-2004. Was 20 years old, and just getting into good beer. The V & A Waterfront is a beautiful place to have a beer, even if the beer aint that great. |
68 another great location ,i celebrated my fiftieth there with some friends from norway and had an excellent time ,,munich in africa!!! |
68 You could easily be in Germany, except this Brauhaus has more pleasant surroundings vs. the Munich one! Always pretty busy, but the service is good, the food is good and the beer’s even better. The beer-battered fish and chips are a must-try! Good value for the waterfront too. Only negative is that every weekend they seem to have exactly the same entertainment, which gets old really fast. |
60 Probably the mopst scenic location of the Paulaner Brauhauses in the world. Their beers are solid as always, their food distinctly German. It is not the most exciting brewpub at the Waterfront, but nevertheless a great spot to sit in the shade with a hefeweizen. |
62 Nicely done overall....great food...good wheat influenced beers. Not far from Germany. |
